Rev. Leonard Eugene Harp October 10, 1946 – February 11, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Rev. Leonard E. Harp of Trumann departed this life on Monday, February 11, 2019 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 1 day.

He was born in Benton, IL and moved to Trumann in 1986 and was formerly of Illinois. He was the pastor of First Christian Church in Trumann, and site manager for Andy Frain Services at ASU FNB arena and other events. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 1 brother and his parents, Phillip Leonard and Juanita Heisner Harp.

He is survived by his wife, Demetreal Minton Harp of the home; one son, Brian E. Harp and wife Christy of Trumann; one daughter, April Lynn Morgan of Jonesboro; two step-sons, Christopher Pankey and Zachary Pankey; one sister, Diana Ellison of Goshen, IN and eight grandchildren, Courtney White, Natalie White, Clay Harp, Gavin Morgan, Jeremy Pankey, Emma Pankey, Piper Pankey and Corbin Pankey. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1301 Highway 69 in Trumann. A celebration of life will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.

Pat James officiating. Graveside service will be Friday, morning at 10:30 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Pallbearers will be Brian Harp, Clay Harp, Zachary Pankey, Chris Pankey, Phillip Ellison and Jared Ellison.
