Obituary for Rev. Richard L. Fisher Rev. Richard L. Fisher, of West Harrison, Indiana formerly of Cincinnati, passed away on July 28, 2018 at Mercy West Hospital.

He was born on October 23, 1941 in Nab, Indiana to Homer and Nadie May (nee Henderson) Fisher. He married Velma Woods on December 8, 1963 and they were blessed with a son Richard Fisher. Rev.

Fisher loved to study and going to school. He earned 3 Doctorates degrees. He enjoyed spending time with his family and being with people.

He was a minister for the Church of the Nazarene for many years until his retirement. After retiring he enjoyed being outside on their property enjoying the many wild animals that were around their property. Those left to carry on Richards memory is his loving wife of 54 years Velma Fisher; dear son and daughter-in-law: Richard & Amy Fisher; cherished grandchildren: Sean and Kelly Fisher; beloved siblings: Sue Essix, Lilly Barringer, Geraldine Fisher and Jimmy Fisher.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Nadie May Fisher; siblings: Martha Stout, Joe Fisher and Glen Fisher. First Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 5:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St. Harrison, OH 45030 Second Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM at Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, 616 W Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220. Burial to follow at White River Valley Cemetery in Medora, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to Victory Church of Nazarene. You may bring your donation at the time of the visitation and a funeral home representative will be there to help you. If you are unable to be in attendance the day of service, you may mail your donation to Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030.
