Mr. Reece was born July 19, 1952 in Forsyth County to the late Guy and Mildred Ross Reece. He was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. Mr. Reece worked as a Licensed General Contractor and an ordained minister for many years.

Mr. Reece is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Deborah Roberts Reece; two children, Andrew (Katie) Reece and Rebekah (Alex) Mitchell; one grandchild, Eva Reece; two sisters, Carolyn (Jackie) Felts and Robin (Gurney) Howard; two brothers, Jim (Cathy) Reece and Mark Reece; mother-in-law, Sarah Roberts; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, May 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Peace Haven Baptist Church with Dr. Jon Bowman and Rev.

George Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Haven Baptist Church, PO Box 382 Yadkinville, NC 27055.
