Obituary for Rex E. Lillard Rex E. Lillard, 64, native of Lyons, GA husband of the late Martha Lillard, passed away on October 11, 2018 at Trident Medical Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. The following weekend on Sunday, October 21, 2018 a gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:30 until the memorial service will begin at 2 o’clock at Hardens Chapel Church 970 GA- 56 Lyons, GA 30436.

Burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted. Rex was born on December 22, 1953 in Vidalia, Ga son of the late James and Geraldine Lillard.

Rex was the life of any gathering and he brought joy to everyone who was around by making them laugh with his jokey personality. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed having them around him. Survivors are: four children: Joyce Rollins of Lyons, Ga, Buddy Smith of Lyons, GA, Debbie Holladay (Brian) of Eutawville and Paul Lillard (Jolene) of Ellaville, GA; twelve grandchildren: Courtney, Amanda (Brian), Brett (Emily), Parker, Preston, Payton, Palmer, Kaitlin, Brooke, Jacob, Madison, and Hadley; six great grandchildren; sisters: Susan Beard (Macon) of Vidalia, GA, Lisa Lillard of Lyons, GA and Jeanne Evors (Loy) of Lyons, GA; Predeceased by: grandchild: Marsha Chubb; son in Law: Eddie Rollins; brother: Chuck Richardson.
