Cole, Rhoda M. Battle Creek, MI Passed away at her home on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Age 75. Rhoda was born in Detroit on August 5, 1943, the daughter of the late Norman Harold Bourbeau and Rachel Avanelle (Harvey) Lakkala.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Battle Creek. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family, going on picnics and she loved her dog. She was united in marriage with Marcus Cole on November 8, 1985.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her father-in-law, one grandson, two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law; one brother, Joseph (Judy) Bourbeau and one sister, Norma (Bart) Pertile. Rhoda is survived by her husband, Marcus; children, Rhonda (James) Borazo, William (Kathy) Williams, Robert (Virginia) Williams, Robbie (Roby) Williams, Ronita Williams, Naoma (Brett) Flauk, Holley Cole, Susan Lee Cole and Jeffrey Marcus Cole; thirty-eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a very special God-Daughter, Wendy Mylly; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family from 12 – 1 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1312 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015.
