Ricardo T. Geducos Ricardo Tejana Geducos, 51 years old popularly known as Ricky or Bro. Ricky to family, friends and to the Santa Maria Catholic Community, died on Monday, November 19th 2018 at 4:12 AM at Marian Regional Medical Center after a battle from cancer that recurred after a year of remission. Ricky was an active, prime mover, and youth leader in their parish Catholic, charismatic movement, where he was loved and respected for his dedication and service for the Lord. He brought the same “fiery” love of God when he moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and served as speaker, leader and member of the “underground” Catholic group. This was also the place where he met his lovely wife Josie.

Later on, they moved here in the US, and after a while decided to live permanently here in Santa Maria while working for Denmat company. He remained active with the Catholic community serving as speaker, a leader, and cantor for three churches, until his untimely demise. Bro.

Ricky is survived by his wife of almost 17 years Josephine Santiago Geducos, and only son Jorick Micheas, and mother in-law Clarita Santiago; sister Vilma and brothers Mario Argel and Rene all three live in the Philippines; Cousin Fe Brown in Seattle, Washington, and brother-in-law Roland Santiago from Canada. Bro. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Juliano and Roberta Geducos, father-in-law Rudy Trigido Santiago.

Viewing and vigil service will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 at 5pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and Funeral Mass will be the following day, Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at 9:30 am.

Graveside service/ burial will follow the funeral mass, at Santa Maria Cemetery. A reception will follow at St. Mary’s Parish hall. A Go Fund Me is set up to assist Ricky’s family.
