Richard “Dick” Bateman, 75, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Monday March 18, 2019 surrounded by his family, at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake. Richard was born in Cleveland on April 18, 1943 and he was a life-long resident of North Ridgeville. Richard is survived by; His wife Linda Bateman (nee duBroy); one daughter, Lisa Lotz (Kirk Miller) of North Ridgeville; one son, Tom Lotz (Annie) of Crestwood, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Hailey Miller, and Clara Lotz; and by one sister, Marsha.

He was preceded in death by his 3 sons, John Bateman, Scott Bateman, and Ricky Bateman. The family welcomes friends to join them on Thursday March 21, 2019 at 3pm until the time of the service at 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. , (at Stoney Ridge Rd.

), North Ridgeville. Pastor Randy Crabtree of Eversprings Missionary Baptist Church in Amherst, will officiate the service. Members of the Honor Guard from VFW Post #9871 in North Ridgeville will conduct full military honors at the service.
