Earl P. Solomon, age 89, of Westlake, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Rae Ann in Westlake. He was born in Bybee, Tennessee and had been a resident of Westlake for the past 15 years. He previously lived in Rocky River, Lakewood and Cleveland.

Earl work as a shipping clerk for Ford Motor Company at the Brookpark Engine Plant, retiring in 1982 after 30 years. He was a member of Branch Community Church in Parma. Earl was an avid baseball fan, especially the New York Yankees and enjoyed hunting, trapping and watching college football.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ruth (nee Hart); daughter, Tara (Craig) Cicak of North Ridgeville; grandchild, Kristen Proszek; great-grandchildren, Graham and Sadie Proszek; sisters, Gladys Palmer of Rocky River, Shirley Angylosi of North Ridgeville. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Solomon; sister, Anna Mae Hart, Clara Jones; parents, William and Kelley (nee Atkins) Solomon. Services will be private.
