Minnie Lou Carey (nee Barbour), age 85, of Eaton Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at her son’s home in LaGrange, KY. She was born in Rural Scott County, VA and has lived in Eaton Township, Ohio since 1977, moving from LaGrange, Ohio. She enjoyed keeping a clean house, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.

Survivors include her sisters, Shirley and Barb of Tennessee; brothers Amos of Tennessee and George of Virginia; children: Eddie (Connie) Carey of LaGrange, KY, Teresa (Rick) Anderson of Eaton Township, Danny (Audrey) Carey also of Eaton Township and son-in-law Jim Meade of Elyria; grandchildren: Brooke (Tim) Couch of Crestwood, KY, Justin (Jessica) Carey of Olmsted Falls, Inez Anderson of Columbia Station, Sean (Hannah) Carey of Cuyahoga Falls; great grandchildren: Dakota, Destiny, James, Josephine, Cooper and Kinley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey in 2015; daughter, Janet Meade in 2010, grandson, Ryan Carey in 1999, granddaughter, Carey Anderson in 2012 and parents Amos and Lena Barbour. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 2-5 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville.

Funeral service will be Monday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Reverend Rick Keesee will officiate. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
