Richard was born Richard Dale Karczynski later changed to Richard Dale Jackson. He passed away Saturday evening February 23, 2019 peacefully and quietly as he held hands with his wife and family. Although he lost his battle with cancer he had a wonderful full life.

Attending St. Isadore’s and Catholic Central schools. He was a marine serving in Korea. He was a clerk for the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the State of Michigan for 26 years, then began a long career volunteering for a number of causes including Kent Community Catholic Mass, driving a Red Cross medical appointment car, on the board of the FEDCOM Credit Union among others.

Richard loved his friends and enjoyed socializing and travel He leaves behind his wife Nancy, his son Peter and his 2 daughters Pamela and Lisa as well as sister Ginger and nieces Kim and Lori. And his special ‘buddy’ Jason Milanowski His humor and wit will remain with us and continue to lift us up as the years go by. Goodbye my love.
