Mary Louise Davies (78) of Grand Rapids, Michigan left this world on Tuesday May 21. She was preceded in death by her son Craig and parents Francis and Kathryn Breckenridge. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 56 years Don, her daughter Pamela Flint (Tom), her grand girls Kayleigh, Tymbre, Baylie, Skye, and daughter-in-law Stacy.

Mary had a full life and is loved by many. She will be remembered as a dedicated school teacher of over 35 years for Northview Public Schools. She loved reading, as books were one of her many passions.

Her faith was extremely important to her and she served on many committees within the Episcopal Church. Some of her other favorite things in life were spending time in the company of family and friends, Lake Michigan, Anna Maria Island, and nature. A celebration of life will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 1025 3 mile NE, Wednesday May 29 at 6:00pm.

A light dinner will be offered after as an opportunity to visit the family and share memories of Mary’s life. In memory of Mary and in lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Emmanuel Hospice or St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
