Margaret Ann Karlek, aged 79 of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, George E Pallas and Adeline R. Pallas; three brothers, Michael P. Pallas, Jan J. Pallas, Charles G. Pallas; sister Suzanne Pallas; and her beloved grandson Tyler Karlek. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard T. Karlek; two sons, Kirt A. Karlek, Kris L. Karlek; step daughter Betty (Gary) Berggren; sister Janet Lyons; sister in law Phyllis (Walter) Robinson; grandchildren Alyssa Karlek, Nathan Karlek; daughter in law Debbie Karlek; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graduate of Catholic Central High School in 1957, she worked for many years as a billing specialist in the medical field. Margaret’s special interests were traveling and antiquing but her center of focus was definitely her husband and two sons. Additional information regarding a Celebration of Life for Margaret will be announced at a later date.
