Audrey J. Schurr (nee Stakel) age 89, of Ada, formerly of Batavia, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 14, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Alice Stakel, her sister and brother in law Loretta and Bill Werner and her Aunt Lola Stakel. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul, daughter Polly (Douglas) Collins, son Bob (Beth Corn) Schurr, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Audrey enjoyed singing, especially in many church choirs and with the New York group. She loved animals and was a great wife, mother and grandmother. A Memorial Service will be held 1pm on Thursday May 23rd at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Chapel with visitation two hours prior to the service from 11am to 1pm.
