Obituary for Richard “Dick” Patrick Noble Richard “Dick” P. Noble, age 90, a lifelong resident of Yakima passed away on April 8, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sara Mae (Crum) Noble; his sister Janet Buillion and his grandson Adam Hart. Dick graduated from Yakima High School and then entered the US Air Force serving during the Korean War.
After returning to Yakima he accepted a job at Congdon Orchards where he worked until he was age 85. Dick worked in every aspect of Congdon’s including buying and selling horses and cattle, accounting and running the cherry operation. One of his largest responsibilities was maintaining the various warehouses.
He was well known for his soft spot for animals. Dick is survived by his son Steve (Kathy) Noble; daughter Cindy Hart; grandchildren: Victoria (Frankie) Mangano, Bradley Noble, Alexandria Noble; great grandchildren Angel Villafan-Noble, and Zackery Noble; and long time special friend Maudeline Melton and her family. At his request there will be no public services.
