Richard Dominic Vincent Mendoza, age 21 and a resident of Flower Mound, TX. Born on January 20, 1997 in Irving, TX to Richard and Brigida Mendoza and passed away in his sleep on January 7, 2019. Richard graduated from Flower Mound High School in 2015 and was working toward his degree to become a psychiatrist.

Richard had a big heart and a beautiful soul and always thought of others before himself. He leaves behind his parents, Richard and Brigida Mendoza, one sister, Brigida Maite Mendoza and one brother, Abraham Valen Alvarado, his grandparents, Luis and Artemia Rizo and Tomas and Ana Mendoza, and the love of his life, Veronica Gornick. A family visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 7:00pm till 9:00pm at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home with funeral services being held on Saturday at 2:00pm at the Flower Mound Funeral Chapel with burial following at Rolling Oaks Memorial Park in Coppell, TX.
