William Bradford Smith, 57, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family in Flower Mound, Texas. Brad was born in Lubbock, Texas on February 13, 1962 to Eugene Linscomb Smith and Patricia Joy Rogers. He was raised in Houston, Texas, where he met his beloved wife, Michelle.

They married May 24, 1986. Brad graduated from the University of Texas in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He obtained his JD from the South Texas College of Law in 1991, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Brad worked for AT&T for over 20 years and was recently appointed Assistant Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel. With his family, Brad attended RockPointe Church and gave graciously. He was adventurous and funloving, and will be remembered for his endless love and support as a devoted husband and father.

Brad is survived by his wife of 33 years, Michelle McWaters Smith; his three children, Austin, 23, Alexis, 19, and Aidan, 16; his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Joe Wilson; and his stepbrother, Whit Wilson. Brad was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Smith and his sister, Susan Smith. In celebration of Brad’s life, a memorial service will be held on Monday, May the 27th at 11:00 AM at RockPointe Church, in the NorthPointe building, with pastor Ron Holton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
