Minal Mehta Cordero was born on October 4th, 1968, to the union of Hemlata Mehta and Rajnikant Mehta in Mumbai, India. Minal Mehta Cordero departed this life on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in Frisco, Texas. Minal Cordero graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas in 1986.
Minal received her Bachelor’s in Political Science & Speech Communications at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 1989. Minal excelled in all her academic endeavors and graduated as Summa Cum Laude in both high school and college. On May 1st, 1993 she married Carlos Ray Cordero.
Their union was blessed with three beautiful daughters. Kalindi Corina Cordero (age 21), Karishma Kristal Cordero (age 17), and Kaveri Maria Cordero (age 14). Minal and her family lived in Frisco, Texas for 18 years.
Minal raised all three of her daughters with great wisdom, confidence, and strength. Minal continually devoted her life to raising her girls to be the strong beautiful women that they are today. Minal’s sales career with Procter & Gamble began in 1990.
Minal worked at Procter & Gamble for twenty-nine years where Minal’s career soared across Executive Sales Management & Marketing. Minal was an active member within The Network of Executive Women (NEW) who facilitated and participated at meetings and conferences during her career at Procter & Gamble. Minal spent time being the best Mom in the world.
Minal devoted her life to her daughters, husband, and pets Nugget & Rocky who she affectionately referred to her as her sons. Minal’s hobbies were golfing, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports team – The Dallas Cowboys. She explored the world with her children, husband, family, and friends.
She loved traveling internationally to see the world that God created for us all. Minal was always up for adventure and found joy in immersing herself in new experiences. Her fearlessness and love for life was contagious and will be missed dearly.
She inspired the people around her to step outside their comfort zones and live their lives to the fullest. Minal’s love for others, excitement for life, and passion for adventure will always be remembered in our hearts. Her beloved husband Carlos Ray Cordero preceded her in death on August 10th, 2018.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Kalindi, Karishma, and Kaveri; parents Rajnikant Mehta and Hemlata Mehta; sisters Rupal Turner and Sonal Patel; brother in-law, Tushar Patel; nieces, Kishori Turner, Ishani Patel, Marissa Garcia, and Elissa Garcia; and nephew Shivam Patel and host of relatives and friends. We will always cherish her golden memories, her “infectious laugh”, and the love that she shared with us all.
