William (Bill) Lee Nale, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on his drive home on April 18, 2019. Bill was born on November 9th, 1934 in Indianola, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma before entering the Air Force Officer Training School. Bill was a captain in the Air Force, flying a Phantom F4 and completed several tours of duty in Okinawa and Vietnam.

After his military service, Bill lived and worked in Dallas TX and Clearwater FL. In retirement he was enjoying the good life living aboard his boat in San Diego Bay, California. A man of passion with a vagabond nature, Bill was propelled by the many joys in his life; including family, friends, politics, boating, reading, pursuing his Indian heritage, and of course dancing!

He was energetic, charismatic, and fun loving, and though he leaves us too soon, we are blessed to have had him. Bill is survived by his children: Melodee, William III, Bart, Susan, Grant and Tiffany; his grandchildren: Caleb, Heather, Kelsey, Katelyn, Stacie, William IV, Cheyenne, Griffin, Kellan and Rhys; and Sisters Patricia and Jerry Ann.
