Richard Dwight Bash, 71, of Shelocta passed away peacefully Saturday April 21 at his residents. The Son of Walter and Alta (Blystone) Bash, he was born December 30, 1947 in Indiana, Pa. Richard was a proud veteran, serving our country in the Army.

After he worked throughout his life for Coca Cola, Penn Dot, Sharps, and was the owner of Bashes Dairy Land in Shelocta, Pa. In his spare time Richard enjoyed Riding around the countryside in is truck, gardening, mowing grass, cooking, hunting, and his beloved dogs Pearl and Buffy. Surviving are his daughters; Vicky and Husband Lonn Hughes and Heather Bash, grandchildren; Troy Keller, Cassandra and husband Chris Anderson, Jonathon and wife Ashley Hughes, and Madison Hughes, great grandchild; Liam Anderson, Brothers; Bill and wife Patty Bash, Ken Bash, Sister; Jackie Dinger and husband Gary.

Preceded by his loving wife Stephane Bash and Daughter Rebecca Markitell, Parents; Walter and Alta Bash, and a sister-in-law Elma Bash. Funeral arrangements will be private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. www.
