Obituary for Richard Henry Potts Richard (Dick) Henry Potts, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the Saint Frances Hospital. Dick was born to the late Richard Henry and Mary Potts, Sr. on July 8, 1928 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was 90 years old.

Dick was a long time resident of Okmulgee county until he moved to Eufaula Lake. He was a former owner of the Beeline Liquor in Okmulgee. Dick was a delivery man at a young age starting with the Pepsi company and then for Rainbow bread company and he also delivered milk.

While living at the Lake Eufaula Dick enjoyed going fishing and boating with his friends and neighbors. Dick is preceded in death by his parents and wife Loreta Potts. Those left to cherish the memories of Dick is his son Rick Potts and wife Pam of Okmulgee, daughter Linda Smith and husband Albert of McAlister, grandchildren Scott Smith of McAlister, Andy Smith of Texas, Jennifer Jones and husband Eric of Broken Arrow, Joshua Potts of Okmulgee and Erica Gilliam of McAlister, great grandchildren Alice Potts, Zeke Potts, and Jameson Potts, Courtney and Clinton Gilliam, brother Don Potts of Witchita, Kansas, brother-in-laws Jack Trask of Miami and Rod Trask of Texas, and sister-in-law Bobbie Crow of Miami.

Funeral services for Dick will be 2:00pm, Monday November 5, 2018 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
