Mr. Richard L. Greenwood, Sr., retired Lt. Commander from the United States Navy, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018, in Ocala. A native of Nebraska, he moved to Dunnellon 15 years ago, coming here from Nebraska.

He was a 50 year member of the Mason’s, and also a member of the Dunnellon United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Helene Greenwood, and his son Rich Greenwood, Jr. A memorial service for Mr. Greenwood will be held at 10 AM Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Dunnellon United Methodist Church. He will be laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with full military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dunnellon United Methodist Church, 21501 County Rd 40, Dunnellon, FL 34431.
