Mr. George H. Collins, III, 65, of Dunnellon, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, FL. He was born in Middletown, NY to George H. Collins, Jr. (D), and Betty L. Terwilliger Collins. He was retired from the Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center in Middletown, NY.

He was a member of the Wallkill and the Middletown Sunday Softball Leagues. Survivors include his son George Raymond Collins of Dunnellon, FL; step-children Michelle (Leo) Raponi, NY, Allison (John) Perez, NY, and Dominick Raponi, NY. ,his sister Kathleen L. Collins, Dunnellon; his brother Steven J. Collins, Dunnellon, and his aunt Rayella Beaudin, Dunnellon.

A memorial service for Mr. Collins will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, FL, with Pastor Eddie Fulford officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to your local pet shelter in his memory. He was also a lifelong Mets, Jets & Knicks fan – so he knew what suffering was!
