Mr. Richard Kemp, age 53 of Fayette, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Fayette Long Term Care. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 12-noon from Canaan Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The body will lie in state Friday from 11-A.M. till service time at 12-noon at the church. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home. Survivors include one brother: Rick Kemp, four sisters: Rundia Wilson, Harriet Shaw, Helen Edwards, and Anita Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Floice and Bennett Kemp.
