Richard Patrick Hoag, age 63 of Britton, passed away September 21, 2018. Richard was born July 13, 1955 in Tecumseh, the son of Richard W. and Lillian (Love) Hoag. On August 27, 1976 he married Peggy Ann Maddux in Dundee and she survives.

In addition to his wife Peggy, Patrick is survived by, his children, Timothy (Kristi) Hoag; and Shelley (Brian Trent) Hoag; 4 grandchildren, Jason Hoag, Dean Fletcher, Mason Trent, Makayla Trent; mother, Lillian Hoag; and one brother, Michael Hoag. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard W. Hoag. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 25, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.

Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery. Visitation will also take place on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family online at: www.
