Obituary for Richard “Rick” T. Monzo Sr. Richard T. Monzo, Sr., “Rick” of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Fairview and Deptford, passed away on Nov. 2, 2018 at the age of 72. Dearly beloved husband of Rosemary Monzo (nee Urban) for 55 years.

Devoted father of Rick Monzo, Jr. (Sue Baxter); loving grandfather of Ricky Monzo, III and Jacob Brennan Monzo; brother of Gregory Vandeputte (Dixie), and of the late Barry Monzo (Marge). Rick is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rick worked as a marine machinist at the U.S. Naval Shipyard of Philadelphia for 26 years, retiring in 1993.

He was a member of the South Jersey Men’s Baseball League for many years. He was a former coach for the Fairview Little League, and the Fairview Ramblers football team. As a machinist, he was always good with his hands, and knew how to fix and build things.

In his spare time, he enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, Nov. 9th, 5:30 -6:30 PM, at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd.
