Rickey D. Hickey, 53, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospice. He was born November 8, 1965 in Piqua, Ohio. Rickey was a self-employed tattoo artist and worked in construction.

He loved to fish, camp, ride horses and ATVs and enjoyed target shooting. He was a fan of anything Harley-Davidson related. Rickey is survived by his mother and step-father Shirley and Jay Butcher of Fortville; daughter: Lemanda Forblis of Indianpolis; sister Tammie D. (Kevin Alford) DeVaughan of Fortville; fiancé: Belinda McGinness of Greenfield; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Pleas Hickey and grandparents: Fred and Geneva Lambdin and Pleas and Sidney Hickey. Friends may call of Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A celebration of Rickey’s life will take place in Kentucky at a later date.
