Obituary for Ricky DeMoe Ricky Alan “Rick” DeMoe, 57, of Roscoe, IL, previously of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 21, 2018, at his home. Born in Kenosha on July 29, 1961, he was the son of the late Donal and Ardys (Hagestad) DeMoe. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
On October 10, 2009, he married Tina Hees in Kenosha. Rick worked as a concrete finisher for many years with his dad and local businesses until he began employment with Chrysler in 2008, then relocated from Kenosha to Belvidere with the factory. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and enjoyed camping and cooking on the grill, most likely holding a Budweiser.
His family will miss his heart of gold and funny personality. Survivors include his wife, Tina DeMoe; two children, Alex Dawe and Tonya Scherrer; three grandchildren, Autumn, Aidan, and Audrey; a sister, Paula DeMoe; two nephews, Jeremy and Jacob DeMoe; and two nieces, Sara Boatwright and Nicole Salmon. He is further survived by his two dogs, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Debbie DeMoe Clack and Tammy DeMoe, and a brother, Ronal DeMoe. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 30th, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the family would be appreciated.
