Obituary for Ricky D Rodenbaugh Ricky D. Rodenbaugh, 62, of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home. Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Ricky was born on May 10, 1956 in Grand Island, son of Vernon and Donna (Benson) Rodenbaugh. As a lifelong resident of Grand Island, Ricky attended school at Grand Island High School. Soon after high school Ricky began employment with CPI.

For over 30 years Ricky was a dedicated employee and superintendent. Most days Ricky was most comfortable in his work shirts and if it were his day off, he would often worry that the elevator wasn’t being taken care of to his standards. Ricky was united in marriage to Darlene in 1986.

Ricky had respect for wildlife and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his hunting buddy, Gary Schwartz. He loved the freedom that riding his motorcycle brought him. Ricky loved to play poker.

Even when his health was failing, he would still make it to the poker games multiple times a week. If he wasn’t playing poker with his friends, he would be a part of the online poker community. Ricky could be a little rough around the edges and set in his ways, but his heart was in the right place.

He cared for all of God’s furry creatures and had many special dogs and several well-fed squirrels. Ricky’s family include his wife, Darlene; children, Ricky and Melissa; seven grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters and extended family and friends. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
