Rissie’s Obituary Rissie Pickett Age 85, of Vandalia, passed away May 22, 2019 at her home. She was born October 1, 1933 in Craig County, Virginia to the late Lahma Pharr & Rose (Creasy) Webb. In addition to her parents, Rissie was also preceded in death by her siblings, Earl, Claude, Artie, Vivian, Dollie, Aubrey, Bea, Jennie Lee & Bobby.

Rissie was a long-time waitress & barmaid in the Vandalia area. She is survived by three children, Don Hoops (Joanne), Duke Armstrong (Angie) and Ginger Spaugy; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Private services were held at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.

Interment was in Poplar Hill Cemetery. If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Rissie to the Hospice of Miami County.
