Obituary for Rita A. Boyd Boyd, Rita A. Age 92. December 18, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Donald.

Dear mother of Danny Boyd, Nancy (Joe) Rhodes, Larry (Mary) Boyd and Russell (Kathy) Boyd. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Rita will be lovingly remembered as a doting mother and grandmother and wonderful homemaker.

She and Donald met at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit and continued their love for dancing throughout their married life. Rita previously enjoyed gardening, camping and cross country skiing. She was known as an avid card player, but will be most remembered for being a wonderful mother.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2019 10:30 am until time of Memorial Mass 11:00 am at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church, 2600 Harvard Blvd. , Berkley. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are appreciated.
