OBITUARY Rita Deutsch April 5, 1950 – November 3, 2018 Rita Deutsch, 68, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Illinois, Rita was a member of St. Charles Borromeo. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing hearts, and never missed an episode of Days of Our Lives.

She was a woman of strong faith and a devoted wife and mother. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Richard Deutsch; children, Heather (Vince) Spilotro, Allison Hoffmeyer, and Sarah (Todd) Francke; grandchildren, Katherine Smith, Olivia Smith, Luke Smith, Julie Hoffmeyer, Jack Hoffmeyer, Sophia Fancke, and Annabelle Francke; siblings, Sandy Williams and Thomas Krogulski; and one niece Kayla Craft. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Marjorie Krogulski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:30 am in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with an hour of calling prior to the Mass. Calling, Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Pine Valley with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm.
