Rita (Homison) Tolusciak, 78, of Springdale, went to be with the lord on Friday September 7, 2018. She was born in Lawrenceville on January 17, 1940 to her parents, the late Stephen and Anna Krusalak Homison and has been a longtime resident of the community. Rita was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale and was a cashier at Giant Eagle for many years before retiring.

She was an avid QVC shopper and also enjoyed drinking a cold beer. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandsons. Surviving her are her loving children: Daughter Christina (Eric) Peterson of Monroville Son Rick Tolusciak of Morningside Daughter Judy (Tanny) Micelli of Verona Son Jeff Tolusciak of Bloomfield 4 grandchildren, 2 Great-grand sons’ Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her son Mark Tolusciak Her family will receive friends on Monday September 10th from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC.

1607 Pgh. St. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 11th at 10am in St. Alphonsus Church with The Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens. www.
