OBITUARY Rita Mary Elliott August 16, 1943 – October 6, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Rita Mary Elliott, 75 of Cary, passed away on October 6, 2018 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Rita was born August 16, 1943 to the late Roland and Elmira Mailloux in Waterbury, CT. She is also preceded in death by her brother, John Mailloux.

Being known for her banana pudding, Rita enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a retiree of 25 years as a Security Officer at the North Carolina Museum of Art as well as a retiree of 13 years from Target. Rita will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tracy Elliott (Jimmy Gilbert), Kim Schwarz (Bobby Schwarz) and Amy Goodman; granddaughter, Baily Schwarz; sister-in-law, Sharon Mailloux; niece, Dawn Bartush; nephews, John Mailloux and Eric Mailloux; and cousin, Claire Tambourin (Louie).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 6:00 PM, Apex Funeral Home, 550 W Williams St, Apex NC 27502. Family will receive friends and guests from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
