Rita’s Obituary Rita (Gallo) Reese, 90 of Pittston, PA died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born January 25, 1928 in Redstone, PA she was the daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Caroline (Derose) Gallo Rite was a graduate of Pittston H.S. Following school she went on to on the work in the garment industry for Pittston Apparel, Flexes Garment Industries, Josephine Sauder and Lady Carol. The last job she held was at Kmart, Pittston she would often describe it as her dream job.

Surviving are sister, Jean and husband Joseph Clonan, West Pittston, brother’s, Frank Jr. and wife Betty Gallo, Pittston, Sam Gallo and Peggy Grivner, Exeter. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews who she treated like her own children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Reese, sister, Frances and husband Joseph Suriano, Ann Gallo and sister in law, Joann Gallo The family would like to thank the staff of Wesley Village for recent care they provided to Rita.

Also, the family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Charles Manganiello for his kindness, care and compassion in caring for Rita over the years. Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home, Inc., Pittston Township, PA Viewing hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 8:30am-9:30am. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9:30am.

Those who plan on attending are asked to be at the funeral home no later than 9:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joseph Marello Parish, William St., Pittston at 10:00am. Interment services will be private and held at the family’s convenience.
