Obituary for River Skiles River A. Skiles, age 14, of Merchantville, passed away on October 25, 2018. She was born in Tuscan, AZ to Simon And Regina Skiles. She was a 9th grade student at Brookfield Academy.

River loved animals, especially her rescue cat Summer. She enjoyed space, the stars, and the ocean. River loved listening and making music.

She also enjoyed strolling the streets and parks of Merchantville. She will be deeply missed. River is survived by her mother, Regina Skiles (nee Kalinowsky); father, Simon Skiles; stepfather, Jamie Hershberger; uncles, Jeff Herther and Matt Kalinowsky; aunt, Liz Kalinowsky; cousins, Damien and Evan Kalinowsky; and cats, Summer, Jasper, and Thunder.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on November 1, 2018 from 7pm-9pm and November 2, 2018 from 10am-11am at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, located at 2426 Cove Rd. , Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A funeral ceremony will be held at the funeral home on November 2, 2018 at 11am.

Interment will be private. Feel free to post photos, share a memory, or send an online condolence to River’s family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made towards the funeral expenses.
