Remembering the Life… Celebration of Riyan Latrice-Heaven Flowers’ Short Life with Us Riyan’s story starts on February 6, 2017, the only daughter to Rodneisha Fuqua and Marquis Flowers. Weighing in at 6lbs 5oz. Riyan was faced with many obstacles but her little body grew weary, on October 18, 2018, Riyan met the eyes of Jesus peacefully in the arms of her GOD Mother, Dominique, surrounded by her huge family.

Riyan experienced holding hands with Mom, Dad and big brother Mekhi along with plenty of hugs and kisses. Ms. Riyan loved listening to her favorite lullaby “Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star” sang to her by her paternal grandmother Renee. Riyan, or Nu Nu Bug, loved to be held and rocked by her number one caretaker, her maternal grandmother (Rebie), affectionately called Mei.

Riyan’s smiles were infectious. She gave us all a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. Riyan is survived by her Mother Rodneisha, father Marquis, big brother Mekhi, her favorite uncle Madara Lewis, Rasheen Dixson, Kenneth Dixson Ellis Dixson; Aunts – Aketha Dixson, Latrice Flowers, LaDeborah Flowers; grandmothers Rebie Lewis and Renee Flowers; Grandfathers Rodney Fuqua and Cardell Dixson; great grandmothers Marjorie Love, Eletha Itill, Pearl Flowers; God mother Dominique Shanks, a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, the nursing staff at University Hospital and Hospice of the Western Reserve as well as numerous of doctors and specialty teams.
