R. L. “Dick” Green, age 75, lifetime resident of Council Bluffs passed away October 17, 2018. He was born December 12, 1942 to the late Lynn and Margery (Schafer) Green. Dick graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Dick operated his own insurance agency for many years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary “Duke” Green and Jerry Green. Dick is survived by his wife of… Read More » 56 years, Mary Lou Green; children, Cynthia Urzendowski (Tom) and Tony Green; sister, Joan Goldapp; brother, Bob Green; grandchildren, Sean Urzendowski, Megan Urzendowski, Alec Flemming, Stephanie Green and Stacie Green; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m on Sunday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment is in St. Joseph Cemetery.
