Obituary for Mrs. Robbie Russell Mrs. Robbie Russell, 88, of Aurora, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mrs. Russell was born in Calloway County on February 9, 1930 to the late Lionel and Lela Stewart Donelson. She was an avid chef and loved cooking for the entire neighborhood.

She was a member of Aurora Christian Fellowship. In addition to her parents, those preceding her in death include her husband, Joe Russell; two sons, Jamie Russell, Johnny Russell, a daughter, Deborah Russell; three sisters, Nevalou McCuistion, Katherine Duncan, Estelle McKinney; six brothers, Troy, Burman, Ewin, Clint, Bill and Louis Donelson. Those left to cherish her memory include four sons, Jimmy Russell (Linda) of Aurora, Jerry Russell of Aurora, Jackie Russell of Aurora and Jeff Russell (Ginger) of Aurora; one sister, Lois Collie of New Concord; 19 grandchildren, Ashley, Aaron, Austin Russell, Sonny Joe Russell, Garrett Arnold, Charles Arnold, Sena Burkeen, Shera Lynn, Stacy Henley, Stan Paul Burkeen, Chasity Dotson, Chastity West, Angie Russell, Jason Russell, Jessica Russell, Jessica Dufriend, Deserie Mayfield, Sherry Faulkner, Harold Bess, Jr.; 17 great grandchildren, Konlee, Leo, C.J., Alyssa, Bella, Jenna, Sienna, Sutherland, Houston, Nolan, Joseph, Justin, Jamie, Jacob, Jonathon, Summer, Jerico, Brittany, Stephanie, Trey and one great great grandchild, Blakely.

The funeral service for Mrs. Russell is set for 11 AM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Robert McKinney will officiate and burial will follow at Fossett Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 PM-8 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the funeral home.
