Obituary for Robert A. Knauber Robert “Bob” Knauber Born to Alexander Knauber and Dorothy Houska Knauber on August 22, 1932. Died peacefully at home May 31, 2018. Bob was the beloved husband of the late Louise Martina Knauber (nee Eberhardt).

Loving father of Thomas (Maureen), Susan (Steven) Callahan, William (Shawn); Cherished Papa to his beloved grandchildren Luke, Kevin, Clara, Ryan, Robert, Matthew, Lisa, and Josafine. Dearest brother of the late Joyce Ryan and the late Jack Knauber. Fond uncle and kind friend of many.

A proud Korean War veteran, he was a graduate of DePaul University and worked at United Airlines for over 35 years. Bob was all about love, laughter and good times with family. We will cherish the beautiful, loving memories he gave to all of us.

Memorial Visitation Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1pm until time of prayer service at 4pm at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, IL. Interment Private. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Robert A. Knauber please visit our Sympathy Store.
