Obituary for Robert Abbey Robert Abbey, age 100, died on May 26. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Dorothy, and sister, Ethel Eviden. Survived by nieces and nephews: Sheldon Eviden and Yael (Jamie) Kimmelman in Jerusalem, Donnalee Rubin and Carole Sesling in MA, Laurie Shaffer in CA, Jon Silverman in VA, and Devie Koval, Edina.

Very special thanks to Heidi, LeRoy, Bernadette, Comfort and Flora and the staff at Knollwood Place, Dr. Josaleen Davis of Allina Health Hopkins Clinic, and to Karen Waldron, RN and Rabbi Sharon Stieffel of Sholom Hospice. We are forever grateful for the dignity and respect you gave Uncle Bob! Memorials preferred to the Robert Abbey Music Fund, c/o Sholom Foundation, 3610 Phillips Parkway, Mpls.

55426 to support music at Knollwood Place. We fondly remember Uncle Bob breaking out in song! Uncle Bob will be buried in the Quincy Hebrew Cemetery ( MA), next to Aunt Dorothy.
