Obituary for Beatrice C. Bahr Beatrice Bahr, age 88, of Rochester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 12, 2018. Brilliant, beautiful, funny, stylish, and always remarkable. Revered matriarch of the Bahr family.

Dear and loyal friend to many, teacher, wise advisor, and inspiration to all (most of the time! ). Co-founder, with husband Chester Bahr, of Hiller Carpets.

Avid dancer, world traveler, bridge life master, active member and participant of the Rochester community for 57 years, lifelong member of the Jewish community. Survived by 3 sons: David (Mo Fogarty) Bahr, Michael (husband, Morrie Hartman) Bahr, Hal Bahr, daughter-in-law, Kathy (Kipp) Bahr; grandchildren: Leah (Pedro) Benavides, Sarah Holland, Max (Kelley Milligan) Bahr, Molly Bahr (Dan Delgado), Adam Bahr, Steven (Laura) Bahr; and 6 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Mia, Stevie, Charlie, Ezra, Lily. Proceeded in death by: husband of 65 years, Chester; son, Andy; great-granddaughter, Rachel; daughter-in-law, Margaret; partner of Hal, Don Walker.

Funeral service 11:00 AM TUESDAY, MAY 15th, 2018. B’NAI ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE, 150 7th Ave. SW, Rochester MN.

Memorials preferred to B’nai Israel Synagogue, or donors favorite charity. SHIVA at the family home in Rochester Tues. & Wed.
