Robert Arthur “Buster” LaBonville age 57, of St. Louis, MI, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at his home. Cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends at a later date.

Robert was born in Alma, MI on April 3, 1961, the son of Daniel Pechacek and Roberta (Cottrill) Hagen. Robert graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1980. After high school he worked in the printing industry for many years and became a color specialist.

Robert was a very caring person. He loved to make a stranger a friend. He loved spending time with family and friends outdoors with a good bonfire and BBQ.

Robert was a skilled communicator and loved to make people laugh. He loved to work with his hands and was very skilled in woodworking. He was also an avid gardener.

Robert is survived by his son Bryant (Cheryl) LaBonville, and granddaughters Madison and Teagan all of Freeland, father Daniel (Christine) Pechacek of Harrison, brother Samuel (Stacy) Pechacek, sister Julie (Chris) Carr, and girlfriend Joy Helmer. Robert was preceded in death by his mother Roberta Hagen, brother Robert “Tiger” Fletcher, and aunt Barbara Brown. Online condolences may be left at www.
