Robert “Bob” Rieker, 90, of Quakertown died June 17, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Cathelene N. (Nix) Rieker. Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Fred & Mabel (Trout) Rieker.

He was a car inspector for the former Reading Railroad and continued with Conrail Railroad before his retirement. Bob was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Quakertown. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WW II.

He loved his family. He is survived by a son Larry E. (Carol) and a daughter Robin G. Fisher (Dennis). A brother Larry K. Rieker (Arlene).

Four grandchildren Lisa Marencik (Tommy), Jenny Falco (Dave), Bobby Fisher (Kelly), Bradley Rieker (Melissa). Seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Robert Scott and a sister Lucy Barndt.

Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www. crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
