Chesterfield, SC Mr. Robert Carroll “Bob” Wadsworth, age 86, went home to be with his lord on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Mr. Wadsworth was born January 10, 1932 in Chesterfield, SC. A son of the late Edgar Lee Wadsworth and Joyce Rayfield Wadsworth.

He was a former member of the South Carolina Army National Guard and a member of Douglas Mill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by his wife Clarice Hicks Wadsworth, a brother Jim Wadsworth, and by a sister Shirley W. Gardner. Survivors include his sister, Dot W. Welch of Chesterfield, SC, and by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 9, 2018 at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister Dot Welch. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County PO Box 293.
