Obituary for Robert Shockley Robert “Bobby” C. Shockley, known as “Shock” to his family, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Emsworth on Monday, April 16, 2018. Born on December 7, 1956, in Sewickley, Bobby had the opportunity to explore different parts of the world as he was stationed in Germany and California during his eight years in the Air Force all the while finishing his BA at Chatman College in Orange County, California. Characterized by faithfulness, kindness, and generosity, Bobby displayed these characteristics as he cared for his family and as he worked for the past 18 years at Christ Church at Grove Farm where he was especially blessed by his friendship with John and Kathie Guest.

He is survived by his sister Becky Haas (Rob), nieces Nicole and Sydney, his uncle Richard Graig (Kathy), and his aunt Matilda Parades. Friends will be received at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver Street on Friday, April 20 from 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 21at Christ Church at Grove Farm at 249 Duff Rd, Sewickley, PA.

In lieu of flowers, Bobby would have appreciated people supporting his love of dogs with donations to the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation because of its care for K-9 units and service dogs. Please donate to: www.
