Robert Duane Toney was born on November 14th, 1955 in Oregon City to Bobby and Lois Toney and passed away November 9th, 2018 after a long battle with illness. He was in the Marine Corps in the early eighties serving at Camp Lejeune and then Okinawa. When he returned home from the service, he worked at a logging mill in Mill City and from that became a concrete cement truck driver for various companies.

He is survived by his children, Nick Toney (Virginia), Crystal Newman (Puyallup, WA), Samanta Jones (Oregon City) and Jennifer Premo (Battle Ground, WA). He is also survived by his brothers Bruce or Oregon City, Steve of Culver, and Mike of Wilsonville. His pride and joy were all the grandchildren he had by his wonderful kids, as well as all the nieces and great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Bob loved the great outdoors and liked to camp and fish, and crab at the beach. He loved his sports teams (go Packers! ) and was actively involved with Nick at North Marion School’s baseball team.

Nobody was a stranger to Bob. He had a kind heart and strong convictions and was the best brother, father, grandfather and uncle his family could know. A Military Service will be held November 21st at 1:30 at Willamette National Cemetery,11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd in Portland, OR.
