OBITUARY Robert “Duck” Dwayne Thornburg August 9, 1934 – October 16, 2018 Robert Dwayne “Duck” Thornburg 84 passed away peacefully on Tuesday (October 16, 2018). Dwayne was a highly respected member of the community and avid outdoorsman. He was a man of integrity and “True Grit”.

He lived by actions and deeds rather than maybe’s and promises. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Tammy LaForce Thornburg and a host of family and friends. He will be truly missed and often remembered by those who honestly knew him.

We all wish him a safe journey. A special thank you to Wanda McGhee; she provided in home care and made such a positive impact on our daily life. She was truly heaven sent.

Also, to his “adopted son”, Jamie Cox for all of the hunting memories and always going the extra mile for our family. Per Dwayne’s request, he wished to be cremated with no services. Online condolences may be made to the Thornburg family at www.
