Robert G. Mickelsen age 73 of Salem Lakes, WI passed away peacefully December 24, 2018 with his wife at his side. He was born in Chicago, Il on August 22, 1945. The son of the late George and Marion (Sulkowski) Mickelsen.

On November 26, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada he was united in marriage to Frances B. Michaels. Robert received his Master’s Degree from Marquette University. He served as principal of St. Peter Claver of Sheboygan from 1972-1984, Principal of St. Matthias in Milwaukee, WI from 1984-1990 and Principal of Wheatland Center School in Wheatland, WI.

from 1990-2006. During his life he enjoyed traveling especially to Las Vegas. He liked to sit in his backyard and watch the river and the sunsets with his wife.

He enjoyed off-roading with his wife Frances and was an active member of the 4 Lakes 4 Wheelers Club. Robert is survived by his wife Frances, his two sons: Scott (Jennifer) Mickelsen and Christopher (Kelly) Mickelsen. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his brother Edward (Dorothy) Mickelsen and sister Myra (Jack) Rabiola. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 12:30 at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. The family will receive friends from 9:30AM until the time of services.
