Robert (Rick) H. Devlin Jr. of Bonita Springs, Florida and Quiogue, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 Rick was born September 4, 1943 in Bronx, NY to Robert H. Devlin Sr. and Catherine (Flynn) Devlin. He was a proud graduate of The Loomis School ’61, University of Notre Dame ‘65 (BA Economics), and Tuck Business School at Dartmouth ’67 (MBA). Rick started at CBS, then worked over 40 years in the radio business including General Manager at WOR, ABC Radio, and RKO Radio.

He served as President of the Radio Network, and Member of the National Association of Broadcasters and Radio Advertising Bureau. Rick also served on numerous not-for-profit boards including his role as Vice Chairman of the NY Chapter of the March of Dimes. Sports were a constant in Rick’s life, both participating and as an avid fan, never missing the Notre Dame “Fighting Irish” play.

He was an avid golfer, but he would stop everything to cheer on his family members in their chosen sports. Rick was known for his warm heart and very quick wit and always enjoyed spending time with close friends and family. Rick loved and was loved by many, the love of his life Noreen Harrington and the entire Devlin and Harrington Families.

Rita, Ed, Cat and Jamie Dailey The title he perhaps cherished most was “Grandpa Rick” to Alec (11) and Kate (8) Devlin.
