MORAN, Jr., Robert, H. 93, of Mechancisville, VA went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 28, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Moran; siblings, Bernard, Marie, Rowland (Skeeter), Eugene; a nephew, “Bubba” Moran; as well as his beloved wife Doris “Tootsie” Moran. Robert will be remembered by his daughters, Sandra Hare (Starkey) and Marie Seniunas (Anthony); six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Robert proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a faithful member of the Catholic Church of the Redeemer as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 9808 of Mechanicsville. The family would like to thank Dr. Angelina Jovine; his beloved doctor and the VA Hospital, as well as the kind and compassionate staff who cared for him in the hospice unit.

The family will receive friends, 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm, Friday, February 1, 2019, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. , Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd.

, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. Interment will immediately follow at Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Knights of Columbus, c/o Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd.
